Year: 2024
Type: article
Study design: Case Report
Abstract: Osteoid osteomas are benign bone tumors characterized by severe localized pain, often challenging the daily lives of young patients. While these tumors are typically solitary, rare cases of multiple osteoid osteomas have been reported. This research paper presents a case series of 2 young patients with multiple osteoid osteomas, highlighting their clinical presentation, diagnostic workup, treatment with cryoablation, and follow-up. The paper emphasizes the effectiveness of cryoablation as a minimally invasive treatment option for these challenging cases.
