Type: article
Abstract: part in the restoration of buildingsand structures that were destroyeddue to Russian aggression. The articleexamines a typical example of thedestruction of a multi-story residentialbuilding located in the residentialcomplex “Dynasty” in Kyiv. The building is constructed using aframe-monolithic design. The spatialrigidity of the building is ensured by thejoint work of the monolithic reinforcedconcrete core together with monolithicreinforced concrete pylons and flatslabs. The load-bearing elements ofthe building are pylons 250 mm thick, monolithic reinforced concrete wallsand stiffening diaphragms 250 mmthick and technical floor columns with across-section of 310x250 mm. The pitchof the load-bearing vertical structuresis 3.0 m and 6.0 m. It should benoted that the stiffening core (elevatorshafts and stairwell) is offset from thecenter of the building. Each floor has 6residential apartments (1-3 rooms). The development of further actionsto eliminate the consequences andrestore the residential building was preceded by atechnical inspection of the object. The preliminaryinspection included a visual examination of thebuilding structures and a geodetic survey of thespatial position of vertical and horizontal loadbearingstructures in order to implement prioritymeasures to prevent the collapse of damaged anddestroyed structures. During the detailed inspection, acomprehensive set of tasks was performed, including:studying project materials, photo documentationand detailed review of visible damage, geodeticmonitoring of deformations, investigation of materialstrength, and the development of technical solutionsfor the restoration of the building. Each stage of the building inspection includedgeodetic support, allowing for the provision of timelyinformation about the current state of the building ateach stage.
