Abstract: Intractable stricture of the esophagogastric anastomosis after Ivor-Lewis esophagectomy for esophageal corrosive burn is an extremely rare complication. We present the case of a 28-year-old man with complaints of dysphagia and two attempts for bougie dilation without effect. Retrosternal colonic bypass and distal Roux-en-Y neoesophagojejunal reconstruction, as well as double enterostomy with Braun anastomosis, were performed.
