Targeted, safe, and efficient gene delivery to human hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells in vivo using the engineered AVID adenovirus vector platform
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: In the originally published version of the article, the authors described the development of adenovirus vectors with mutated fibers, pentons, and hexons for selective transduction of human hematopoietic stem cells.Upon internal review of the materials, the authors found that all experimental data described in the article were generated with vectors that comprised mutated fibers and pentons, as originally described, but the structure of the hexon in AVID-317 and AVID-388 vectors was that of the unmodified HAdv-C5 virus. In the interest of rigor and reproducibility of the data, the authors would like to correct the description of materials used to generate all experimental data as described below.
