Abstract: Dear Editors, Lacsa’s recent article delves into the potential of professionals to drive transformative change to address disparities. The author argues public health practitioners are critical in addressing health disparities by identifying and addressing the root causes of inequities. Furthermore, the author adds that the efforts of public health practitioners are crucial in creating a more just and equitable society.1 Based on this, it is important to prepare adequate resources to face future challenges. This paper is written to learn more about the praxis of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in preparing competent human resources for the future. TVET plays a crucial role in shaping a competent workforce in various sectors, including public health.2 With the rapid development of technology and changes in public health needs, TVET is an important cornerstone in ensuring that health workers are ready to face challenges and contribute effectively to the health system. TVET offers training that focuses on the practical skills and technical knowledge needed in the healthcare field. These programs are designed to meet industry standards and specific needs relevant to current medical practice. Health workers trained through TVET are better equipped to cope with a variety of clinical and non-clinical situations, and are able to use the latest technologies that support patient care.
