Initial demonstration of microplasma ionization/Orbitrap mass spectrometry for molecular screening of perfluorinated compounds

Abstract: Diverse PFAS compounds were determined for the first time with the liquid sampling-atmospheric pressure glow discharge (LS-APGD) ionization source coupled to an Orbitrap MS. Unique negative ion spectra and preliminary figures of merit are reported.
