The research uses a quantitative paradigm, taking cases in Southeast Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. The sample size of 100 people was determined purposively. An important finding that is a scientific contribution is the proof that ease of business licensing can create public trust, and good governance, as well as the public trust that is formed can improve good governance, especially in areas that generally operate in the agricultural sector. The practical consequence is that every government, to absorb investment activities in the future, must strengthen good governance created through ease of doing business and creating public trust.
