Abstract: The convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and the Internet of Things (IoT) has revolutionized various industries by enhancing IoT applications' efficiency and performance. This paper presents a comprehensive review of the impact of AI and ML in optimizing IoT systems. This study investigates how AI/ML algorithms contribute to real-time decision-making, energy efficiency, data management, and security in IoT networks through a qualitative research methodology. Additionally, it identifies the limitations of current research and provides directions for future work.
