Year: 2024
Type: article
Study design: Case Report
Abstract: Squamous cell carcinoma of penis is rare. Even rare are cases of squamous cell carcinoma reported in lichen sclerosus. We report a case of 36 year old male suffering from lichen sclerosus (LS) who developed squamous cell carcinoma of penis in relatively early age as well as in the course of lichen sclerosus. It is important to recognize the possibility of malignant change and educate patients and keep them under close follow-up aiming for a better outcome in terms of quality of life as well as survival.
