Analysis of rapid reconstruction airport pavements

Abstract: The article discusses principles and guidelines for rapid reconstruction of military airfield pavements. The possible repair materials to be used as well as the basic types of lightweight collapsible pavements were defined . Various technologies and principles for organizing construction work related to the repair of damaged pavements in accordance with the STANAG 2929 standard are presented. The article presents selected scientific principles of work organization that affect the maintenance of a high pace of construction project implementation. Additionally, the article highlights the need to protect aircraft and other sensitive elements of airport infrastructure, suggesting the use of double-bent sheet metal structures. These structures are relatively inexpensive and can be erected in a very short time.
