The Performance-Cost Trade-Off of Multipath Multipartite Entanglement Distribution

Abstract: High rates for multipath multipartite entanglement distribution require more repeaters than single-path. We show that prioritising high-usage repeaters enables multipath protocols to still significantly outperform single-path with just 2.8× repeaters instead of 6×.
