Abstract: • A new method for detecting exogenous viruses has been developed. • The method established is highly sensitive and specific. • Beyond DNA viruses, the introduction of RNA pseudovirus controls to simulate reverse transcription allows for the detection of RNA viruses, broadening the range of detectable viruses.
