Type: article
Abstract: A new thecidellinine species, Thecidellina lueteri, is described and figured from the Kermadec Islands, southwest Pacific Ocean. This increases the number of extant species in this genus to 13, six of them occurring in the Pacific. The most distinctive morphological features of the new species are lateral expansions and paired posterior outgrowths on the calcitic pole. Ontogenetic series of images are provided for both T. lueteri n. sp. and for T. insolita Hoffmann et al. 2009 from Lord Howe Ridge.
