Abstract: Cryopreservation causes cryo-injuries to spermatozoa that decrease their post-thaw fertilizing ability.Ram sperm plasma membrane integrity and function is compromised during freeze-thawing process primarily due to oxidative stress, among other factors.As a result, motility and viability of frozen-thawed ram spermatozoa are decreased.
