Abstract: Objective of the research is to rethink Yu. A. Zhdanov’s humanistic values in the context of modern times. The methodological basis of the research is based on the works of Yu. A. Zhdanov; speeches, reports, interviews of R. D. Khunagov and A. Yu. Shadzhe. Results of the study. Humanistic values in the works of Yu. A. Zhdanov in the field of forming dialogical relations between man and nature, as well as between man and man are revealed. The significance of spiritual values of the peoples of the Caucasus for the development of the region and the country is substantiated. Research рerspectives are connected with the need to increase the spiritual and moral values of the peoples of the Caucasus and strengthen the Russian national identity.
