Joint Operation of Column Base Metal Plate and Reinforced Concrete Slab of Post Footing of Industrial Building
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: The paper studies the joint operation of the base metal plate of column base and reinforced concrete slab of post spread footing of industrial building of a reconstructed industrial building. Purpose: The achievement of the stress-strain state of the base metal plate of the column base, reinforced concrete slab of the post footing, contact forces between them and their distribution along the contact plane. Methodology/approach: The theoretical model of the joint operation of these elements is performed in Ing + 2021, MicroFe software with the proposed finite element model. Research findings: The stress-strain state is determined for two contacting bearing elements of the metal column base and their joint operation. Practical implications: Recommendations are given to the concrete reconstruction of the reinforced concrete slab of the post footing within the base metal plate perimeter of the industrial building.
