Abstract: Persistent sciatic artery (PSA) is a rare vascular anomaly that may cause serious complications such as arterial embolism , aneurysm, and rupture. We report the case of a 51-year-old man presenting with septic rupture of a persistent sciatic artery aneurysm. Based on Ahn-Min's classification, we designed a treatment plan, including initial endovascular stent repair followed by staged debridement and drainage surgery. Soon after the treatment, the patient fully recovered from the pain and movement restriction. The case and treatment plan are described in detail in this report.
