Abstract: Use of tissue removal system: efficacy and safety. Retrospective study use of tissue removal system in out patient setting under local anesthetic. The total number of procedures studied: 184; average treatment time: 3min; average fluid deficit: 200ml; successful procedure: 182; procedure abandoned – suspected false passage – 1; patient choice – 1. Use of tissue removal system for endometrial polyp and type1 fibroid resection in the out patient setting is a very safe and efficient method to treat women. This service scores high on patient satisfaction.
