EP23.32: Analysis of the correlation between ultrasonic characteristics and key genes in malignant ovarian tumours
Year: 2024
Type: conference-abstract
Abstract: To investigate the correlation between ultrasonic features and key gene in malignant ovarian tumours. Transcriptome sequencing was performed on ovarian cancer samples and ovarian benign tumour tissue samples, The differentially expressed genes were screened by bioinformatics analysis and verified by qRT-PCR (Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction). To collect ultrasound features from ovarian cancer patients, And analyse its correlation with differentially expressed genes. The incidence of irregular shape, unclear boundary, maximum diameter of more than 10cm, blood flow signal score of 3-4 and ascites were higher in malignant ovarian tumours, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.001); Bioinformatics analysis and qRT-PCR results showed that the expression level of MCM4 (Minichromosome maintenance 4) in malignant ovarian tumour was significantly increased, however, The expression level of PDGFRA (Platelet derived growth factor receptor alpha) in malignant ovarian tumour tissue decreased significantly; The expression level of MCM4 in cancer tissues of patients with unclear boundary and blood flow score (3-4) was significantly increased. (P < 0.05), however, the expression level of MCM4 were not related to the shape, size and ascites of the mass (P > 0.05); the expression level of PDGFRA was not correlated with the tumour boundary, morphology, size, blood flow score and ascites (P > 0.05). The unclear boundary and blood flow score (3-4) in ultrasonic features of malignant ovarian tumours are related to the expression level of MCM4, which can provide reference basis for clinical diagnosis, treatment and prognosis evaluation.
