Abstract: Background Formed under the 2017 Scientific Strategic Plan, the European Huntington’s Disease Network (EHDN) Think Tank is a strategic initiative aimed at supporting scientific strategy and overseeing scientific endeavours. Aims The primary objectives of the EHDN Think Tank are to promote collaboration among researchers as well as support and facilitate development of the research, clinical and educational initiatives within and outside the EHDN. Methods/Techniques The Think Tank engages with lead facilitators of EHDN Working Groups and Task Forces as well as with researchers outside of EHDN to identify collaboration opportunities and foster the respective discussions. Results/Outcome During the last year, several events were organized under the auspices of the EHDN Think Tank, including Virtual Meeting of the EHDN Working Groups and Task Forces, Platform Meetings with Roche and Prilenia, devoted to the results of the recent clinical trials. With support of the Think Tank, a special section in the Journal of Huntington’s Disease has been allocated to provide updates on the developments of EHDN research. The Think Tank provides advice and the opportunity to discuss EHDN support for, or partnership of, members’ grant proposals to external bodies. Another important part of the Think Tank activities is establishing and developing connections with other professional societies, such as the European Academy of Neurology, European Reference Network and the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society. Conclusions The EHDN Think Tank serves as a pivotal element in the EHDN’s mission to advance HD research and care.
