Abstract: The article presents an analysis of patriotic education based on military traditions, valor and honor. The relevance of the article lies in considering the role of symbols in the minds of young people, which accompany events dedicated to the memorable days of the Armed Forces and historical periods. Nowadays, the process of educating a new generation and the formation of ideological stability is one of the most basic and important topics of the development of modern society. Traditions that support the integrity, preservation of culture and spirituality have played a key and integral role in everyday life and education throughout the history of our country.
