Abstract: The construction of the eastern section of the Baikal-Amur (BAM) by the USSR railway troops is described. The note gives a short, but informative idea of the construction of the eastern section of BAM. The scale of the project, the complexity of the conditions, the heroism and dedication of the builders are emphasized.
