Abstract: Unethical marketing practices in the hearing aid industry exploit vulnerable populations, hinder informed decision-making, and damage the industry's reputation. This review examines these concerns from global and Indian perspectives, emphasizing the need for ethical practices. It finds that misleading claims, aggressive tactics, lack of transparency, and insufficient risk information pose significant challenges. Addressing these concerns requires strengthening ethical guidelines, promoting transparency, empowering consumers, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders. Ethical considerations are paramount in ensuring equitable access to quality hearing care and empowering individuals to make informed decisions.
