Abstract: The impact of climate change is significant for all buildings, and this is especially important for cultural heritage buildings. The European Union publishes reports on the resilience of cultural heritage buildings to climate change. The reports recommend specific actions, such as the renovation of buildings and the need to improve the maintenance of buildings in order to increase building resilience and adaptation to climate risks. This paper presents a brief overview of the importance of cultural heritage buildings’ adaptation to climate risks. Furthermore, an example of measures for cultural heritage buildings adaptation to the impact of climate risks is presented.
