Study design: Systematic Review
Abstract: This research is a systematic review of brazilian articles that describe works on Special Education in Professional Education, highlighting those related to good practices and case studies, in order to contribute to professionals working in this area. For this, the journals available nationally for free were searched, being selected four journals indexed by CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel). Only five articles were found that deal with Special Education from the perspective of Professional Education and that were written between 2012 and 2019. The articles found were not, as expected at first, about a case study, but they reflected current research in the area and reached the main objective of the research: to make a systematic review of articles in the area of Special Education in Professional Education. Their analysis was based on two important questions: what are the disability addressed and what are the contributions to Special Education in the form of Professional Education. This review points out significant issues for professionals working in the area of Professional Education in the field of Special Education, highlighting the importance of training and exchange between peers and institutions, as an important tool in advancing the process of Special Education, from an inclusive perspective, in Professional education, in addition to highlighting the importance of recording and publishing educational practices, as they contribute to discussions, analysis and propositions by other professional groups.
