Abstract: The aim of this research was to analyze the relationship between boredom and life satisfaction in the academic performance of 103 students from an urban high school in Michoacán, Mexico. In this study, the following scales were administered: the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) by Diener et al. (1985), and the Boredom Scale (EsAb) developed in Mexico by González-Ramírez et al. (2021). Finally, the average grade of the student's last grade report, provided by the participant, was used. The correlation between average grades and life satisfaction was positive and moderate. However, the correlation was low and negative with the factors of boredom and academic performance. On the other hand, no differences by sex or age were found in the scores.
