Abstract: Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.), a member of the Solanaceae family, is the world's leading processed vegetable. From the day of emergence until harvest, tomato plants suffer several biotic stressors, such as insect pests and diseases. Among the fungal diseases, early blight caused by Alternaria solani is one of the most important and frequent occurring disease of the crop national and worldwide. The present investigation based of seven fungicides and four bioagents against Alternaria solani under in vitro condition. Among fungicides, Tebuconazole 25.9% EC and Propiconazole 25% EC was found to be significantly superior over all other treatments, showed 100 percent mycelial growth inhibition at all the tested concentrations. The result of dual culture technique revealed that Trichoderma harzianum (69.32%) showed highest inhibition of mycelial growth of A. solani followed by Trichoderma asperellum (62.33%).
