Abstract: The article presents data emphasizing the position of the service sector as one of the priority economic sectors. The authors highlight the factors influencing the need to implement digital transformation, provide examples of categorization of the principles of digitalization and their description in the context of the transformation of service or-ganizations. The main stages of organizing procedures for bringing service organiza-tions to the digital level are outlined.
