The electric transmission stress behaviour investigation while being used for a middle-class road vehicle

Abstract: The paper presents the design for an electric transmission used for a middle-class road vehicle. The transmission gears are designed, calculated and virtually developed. A middle-class road vehicle is chosen for virtual implementation. The geometrical models for the gears are designed and developed. The transmission integration into the chosen vehicles is defined. The stress behaviour for the transmission is investigated following different torque performances demands. Different materials for the gears are considered.
