Simulation of the Parameters of a Lithium-ion Battery that Equips an Electric Vehicle

Abstract: The evolution in the field of electric vehicles is strongly influenced by the performances of the electricity storage sources. Thus the paper proposes to present some theoretical aspects related to the operation of lithium-ion batteries and factors that may influence their state of charge and of course the vehicle autonomy, as well as a simulation model to determine the variation of the main parameters of the battery when it is connected to a velocity variation profile according to WLTC and UDDS cycles. For this we want to show the influence of the discharge current on the battery over time. So, to realize the study the velocity variation over time for the two mentioned cycles will be converted into the current variation and the battery will be connected to this signal.
