Abstract: We have analyzed the causes of the most common mistakes in the development of first aid skills that affect the level of residual knowledge of students at the end of the training cycle. In studying this issue, the tests compiled by the authors were used to assess the priority of using auditory and visual channels of information perception by students. The data obtained made it possible to adjust the educational process to improve the quality of training.
