Abstract: English summary Prosthetic treatment with adhesive technique - an option for young patients? Nor Tannlegeforen Tid. 2024; 134: 696-700. This case report describes a patient in whom prosthetic treatment was chosen at a young age. The girl had pain from her teeth and extensive need for treatment due to a dental developmental disorder. Several attempts with composite restorations were unsuccessful. Feldspatic ceramic veneers were chosen for minimal removal of tooth substance and to increase the durability of restorations as well as to improve aesthetics. The patient’s motivation, opinions, and ability to cooperate were important for the choice of treatment as the treatment was time-consuming and at times exhausting for the young girl. The result was considered successful and led to increased quality of life. Prosthetic treatment with adhesive technique can be an effective option for young patients provided the right indication.
