Los secretos del bosque tropical seco: cómo viven los anfibios y reptiles en el Pacífico mexicano
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: The seasonally dry tropical forest located in Mexico, specifically on the Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, and Pacific coasts, harbors a great diversity of animal and plant species. Despite this, it is considered one of the most vulnerable ecosystems in Mexico due to human activities such as deforestation and fragmentation. This article addresses some ecological and reproductive aspects of the amphibians and reptiles of the seasonally dry tropical forest of Chamela, Jalisco, to promote basic and essential knowledge for the conservation of these organisms in the region.
