Abstract: Hook kick is a crucial technique in the Indonesian martial art of Pencak Silat that requires precise strategy for its effectiveness. This research employs a systematicliteraturereview method to explore relevant studies on hook kick strategies in Pencak Silat. The method involves searching scientific articles and other pertinent sources to identify commonly used strategies and the scientific evidence supporting them. Analysis of the literature reveals that hook kick strategies can be categorized into several key elements, including proper body positioning, correct foot techniques, utilization of body momentum, and effective distance management. These findings provide deeper insights into how this technique can be effectively applied in combat situations and training. The research outcomes are expected to offer profound insights applicable to training and skill development in Pencak Silat, contributing to the enhancement of overall standards in this martial art.
