Ultrasound Examination after Oncological Operations: Unexpected Findings. Clinical Cases

Abstract: The first clinical case describes the main ultrasound signs of a foreign body in the form of suture material after surgery on the stomach, the second clinical case presents the ultrasound signs of an installed intraperitoneal port for chemotherapy after extirpation of the uterus and appendages. The article compares the types of intraoperative foreign bodies, the clinical picture, and the main diagnostic methods.
