In light of the escalating global awareness of environmental protection, green shipping has emerged as a pivotal orientation for the international maritime industry. This paper will delve into the international mandates for green shipping, the stipulations of international regulations, the concrete manifestations of green shipping on vessels, as well as the application of technologies such as wind-assisted propulsion, dual-fuel diesel engines, and hydrogen energy in the realm of environmental sustainability.
