Metal Detection In Ehretia Microphylla (Boraginaceae Family) By Using ICP-MS
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: Indian culture cannot be separated from traditional medicine. India has a long history of ethnobotanical study. Many great efforts have been put into isolating organic compounds; their inorganic components have received less focus. Certain Inorganic Elements have a significant role in numerous biological functions in humans. Many diseases are brought on by elements in excess or lack. Here, the profile of specific trace elements in Ehretia microphylla is examined. The herbal characteristics of this plant are revealed by the qualitative and quantitative examination of trace components in it. This study deals with detection of trace elements, found in Ehretia microphylla and reveals that they are very important source in combating human diseases. Various concentrations of important Trace Elements are being analyzed that are necessary for the metabolism of the human body. Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) is being used to detect the trace elements like Ca, Mn, Fe, Cr, Cu, and K in the leaves of Ehretia microphylla.
