Abstract: Dear Editor, On June 12, 2021, Christian Eriksen's life took an unexpected turn when he suffered a cardiac arrest during a match.1Thanks to the swift and skilled actions of medical personnel who administered Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Eriksen's life was saved. This harrowing incident marked the beginning of an extraordinary comeback story, culminating in Eriksen's emotional goal in the 18th minute of Denmark's match against Slovenia on June 15.2 This case highlights a crucial lesson for healthcare professionals: the vital role of the human factor in the chain of survival.
