Abstract: It has been observed on the basis of the information gathered from various pediatric center & from many maternity hospital of this zone, which has been also admitted by the govt.agency in course of queries that the substantial number of neonates gets frequently encountered with a varieties of abnormalities such as;-neonatal encephalopathy/bronchopulmonary dysplasia/congenital heart disease and poor development of neurological function/autism spectrum disorders/cord related disorders/ & prior to delivery of child complications such as pre-eclampsia/maternal diabetes/ oligo & Polyhydramnios/ intrauterine growth retardation/still birth & fetal demise .etcwhich definitely may happen due to the placental insufficiency. For the diagnosis of the placental insufficiency/sufficiency the medical practitioner of this zone are dependent specifically upon the U.S.G examination as well upon clinical examination along with fetal Doppler sound interpretation, which absolutely in the present scenario seems to be not much adequate and the measurement of placental growth hormone time on time during the gestation period would be considered on priority along with existing one which are under fashion during the present time for an adequate diagnosis of Placental insufficiency/sufficiency. Placenta is the combination of interdigitating fetal & maternal tissues, that serves as the organ of exchange between mother and fetus during pregnancy, in other way we can dictate it as adequate formation of placenta & its adequate functions is a must for the nutrition's of baby during pregnancy, inadequacy whatsoever may lead improper nutrition of baby, it also manifests considering the facts that placenta is the combination of both tissues of mother and fetus, therefore, any irregularities if so with the tissues of mother can lead to the dysfunction of placenta hampering nutrition of fetus & causes for so many diseases. Therefore the diagnosis of placental insufficiency/sufficiency in proper manner is an adequate need for the practicing gynecologist for full term maintenance of a fetus, as well for healthy outcome of Pregnancy.once placenta is well developed, the fetal heart begins to pump blood at, about 5 th .week of gestation.once placenta is formed, fetus derived nutrition directly from the mothers blood.it is known to us that it is an endocrine organ & its secretes so many hormones, out of which one is placental growth hormone also known as human chronoic somatotropin and placental lactogen hormone. This hormone secretes at around 6 th week of pregnancy & gets slowly & slowly rise and finally achieved its pick concentration in the third trimester of around 15mg/ml. it can be presumed substantially that amount of secretion of this hormone is directly proportional to the size of placenta.therefore, insufficiency of this hormone finally indicates that the function of placenta is not adequate.it can be measured time on Correlation of Concentrations of Placental Growth Hormone Among Pregnant Females of Madhepura District of Bihar-India, during first/second and third trimester of their Pregnancy Phases, with the findings of U.S.G in terms of the Estimation of Placental Insufficiency or Sufficiency
