Strategy for the Treatment of Newborns and Children in the First Year of Life with Malignant Tumors in the Moscow Multidisciplinary Medical Center

Abstract: Tumors of newborns and children of the first year of life are a rare pathology of childhood. Examination and treatment of patients in the first year of life have features due to the age of the patient, anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology of the patient's body, the structure of tumors in children of this age group. Based on their own clinical material (198 patients), the authors present a strategy for organizing work with children in the first year of life with malignant solid tumors. All children received diagnostic and therapeutic care in the conditions of one medical institution – V.F. Voyno-Yasenetsky Scientific and Practical Center of Specialized Medical Care for Children in the period from 2011 to May 2022. There were no publications based on such a large clinical material collected in one medical center in the literature of the Russian Federation.
