Abstract: A belt and B belt of X blocks have been under development for 53 years. In the initial stage, the anti-nine point well network was used for adjustment, and the initial phase showed promising results. However, as production progressed, challenges arose due to high crude oil viscosity, significant reservoir heterogeneity, and an elevated oil-water well ratio. These factors contributed to uneven pressure distribution, suboptimal injection-production conditions, and a decline in recovery rates. The article details how adjustments to the injection n-production system addressed these primary issues, thereby enhancing the block’s development status.
