Abstract: Excessive vibration caused by rotor mass unbalance is one of the important factors affecting the safe and stable operation of hydroelectric generating sets. The mass imbalance is manifested in the form of vibration by the centrifugal force and centrifugal moment produced by the rotation of rotating parts. The dynamic balance test can solve the vibration effect caused by a mass imbalance to a certain extent by means of rotor counterweight. Combined with the Grade A repair of the unit, the stability test and dynamic balance test before and after A repair were carried out to verify the effect of A repair. Based on the possibility analysis of unit axis attitude change in the process of counterweight, reasonable suggestions are put forward for the long-term stable operation of the unit.
