Analysis of thermal conductivity and building energy consumption of new phase change concrete
Year: 2024
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: Adding phase change materials to concrete can effectively regulate its thermal performance. The thermal conductivity and energy consumption of phase change concrete were investigated through experiments and simulations in this paper. The research results show that the thermal conductivity of concrete decreases with the increase of phase change materials. The cumulative heat load and cumulative cooling load of phase change buildings have been reduced by 1.5% and 1.6% respectively compared to ordinary buildings throughout the year This indicates that phase-change wall buildings have good insulation and energy-saving performance. The above research indicates that the application of phase change concrete has good energy-saving effects in buildings.
