Comunicação em defesa dos territórios: reflexões a partir de uma rede de rádios na Amazônia

Abstract: The article analysesthe news of the Amazon News Network (RNA), a radio newspaper in an alternative communication network made up of 20 radio stations in seven states in the Amazon region. It verifies the recurrence of issues linked to Amazonian territories and their peoples,as well as the sources that are privileged and has the following problem question: does the work of the Amazon News Network (RNA) play a role of resistance in the defence of Amazonian territories? The reflections are based on political economy approaches (Svampa, 2016 and 2019) and decolonial communication (Villanueva, 2016 and 2019). Based on the analysis, it was possible to see the existence of journalistic movements and activities that come close to a decolonising perspective of communication and, therefore, in defence of the territories and populations that live there.
