Characterization of the edaphic quality in agroecosystems managed by peasants families of Pirané, Formosa, Argentina

Type: article
Abstract: Soil quality can be inherited and dynamic. The first refers to soil formation processes and the latter to anthropogenic effects. The objective of this research was to characterize the edaphic quality of four peasants agroecosystems through physical, chemical, biological indicators and anthropogenic influence, as a baseline for monitoring in soil quality and for the implementation of technologies, practices and biodiversity management alternatives for the promotion of the agroecological paradigm. The theoretical-methodological perspective was mixed. The strongly acidic pH of AAG soil is the limiting chemical factor, while moderate salinity in TAG and TAD restricts plant nutrition. In the four agroecosystems, CFU g-1 of soil were quantified. They belonged to diazotrophic microorganisms, NH4+ and NO2 oxidizers, P solubilizers, cellulolytic fungi and total fungi, whose populations are very sensitive to edaphoclimatic conditions and anthropogenic effects, but contribute to natural biofertilization, natural phytostimulation, biological control and natural bioremediation, which promotes the suppressive effect of these soils.
