Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference between the importance and performance of the safety and health management system as perceived by the disabled sports sector based on the International Organization for Standardization ISO 45001: 2018, KOHAS MS and Sports Safety Foundation safety inspection indicators through the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) technique to derive a plan for the internalization of the safety and health management system in the disabled sports sector. The results of the study are as follows.First, the difference between the importance and performance of the health and safety management system in disabled sports was statistically significant in all six areas.Second, the difference between the importance and performance of the health and safety management system in disabled sports was statistically significant in all 35 detailed items in the six areas.Third, the IPA matrix of each area according to the perceptions of the para-sports sector showed that 'Planning' was in the first quadrant, which is a continuous maintenance area with high importance and performance; 'Place' and 'Personnel' were in the second quadrant with high importance but low performance; 'Materials' and 'Risk Assessment' were in the third quadrant, which requires long-term improvement due to low importance and performance; and '4M' was in the fourth quadrant, which is an overexertion area with low importance but high performance.Fourth, the IPA matrix analysis of the 35 detailed items of the disability sport health and safety management system showed that seven detailed items were in the continuous maintenance area (quadrant 1) with high importance and high performance, and 16 items were in the priority support area (quadrant 2) with high importance and low performance, with the most items in the venue area (9) and seven items in the personnel area.In addition, the eight items in the areas requiring long-term improvement (quadrant 3), which are low in both importance and performance, include four items in the area of materials and four items in the area of risk assessment.
