Abstract: This news section offers Cancer readers timely information on events, public policy analysis, topical issues, and personalities. This issue features Dr Eileen M. O’Reilly, whose research has resulted in the first new therapy in more than a decade for treatment‐naïve metastatic pancreatic cancer. In addition, androgen receptor signaling inhibitors have been linked to increased risk of cardiovascular adverse events in prostate cancer, and radiation alone has excellent outcomes for localized recurrences of endometrial cancer.
