Surveys reveal high rates of harassment and mistreatment, despite legal protections. Prestigious companies like Apple and Burger King are leading efforts in promoting LGBT inclusion. The paper advocates for open-minded leadership in creating inclusive, discrimination-free environments, crucial for fostering healthier work cultures. It also proposes innovative solutions for improving equal access to employment, supportive workplaces, and career success for the LGBTQIA+ community, with a focus on India.
