First records of Chamaesphecia efetovi O. Gorbunov, 2019 (Lepidoptera: Sesiidae) in Türkiye (Turkey)

Abstract: Chamaesphecia efetovi O. Gorbunov, 2019, is recorded from Türkiye for the first time. In 2024 with the help of sex attractants we investigated 11 biotopes with the larval host plant of Ch. efetovi, viz. Marrubium peregrinum L. (Lamiaceae), and found populations of Ch. efetovi in six of them.
