Abstract: In this note we gather a few observations that connect the homological dimensions of Hilbert spaces with other apparently unrelated Banach space questions, such as: Does $$L_1/\ell _2 $$ L 1 / ℓ 2 have the Bounded Approximation Property? Is $$L_1/ \ell _2$$ L 1 / ℓ 2 a subspace of $$L_1$$ L 1 ?
